Evan has had a busy weekend. Both sets of grandparents have been here several times but the big news is that Evan met his Great Grandma and Great Grandpa! For "GG", it was the first big trip since she moved into her new home. Very impressive. For "GGP", it was fun for him to meet Evan before "GGP" heads south for the winter.
(Oh, this is Great Grandma Waters and Great Grandpa Brule for those who don't know..)
We'd like to say everything is fine and Evan is great. However, the City of Ottawa nurse stopped by on Monday and was great but she advised Jenny that the current system we have of breast feeding then pumped milk then formula should be changed to exclude the formula. So, we tried that last night. Needless to say, at 6am I made a new batch of formula as Evan was hungry all night. He still has issues breast feeding and Jenny is getting tired of trying to feed him and then pump...then feed him again. So, we're taking the advice of many and calling a Lactation Consultant before we go nuts. We're really hoping it's just Evan being early and just not being alert enough to eat.
That's about it...Evan has his second doctors appointment today. I guess we'll see how much he's really eating at the weigh in.
