Evan went on his first "field trip" today as the family went to the City Of Ottawa Wellness Drop in program for newborns. We just wanted to make sure we were on the right track. Turns out we are, and a quick weight in on the scale showed he was up from his hospital discharge weight. For more excitement, we stopped at my work which was close by. Everyone was happy to see him....except my boss Cathy who had a nasty cold and had to stay away. A special "shout out" to Chris Waterfield because...well, because he claims to read the blog daily.
Then, a quick stop at Wal-Mart where Evan and Jenny stayed in the car as I ran in for supplies. All this was done in our 3 hour feeding window. Yay! Oh yeah, I can't forget....Evan meets his new pediatrician tomorrow. So, it's another field trip.
Here's what happens after his 5:30am feeding....

Congratulations! I'm so happy that you have him home at last - that must feel fantastic. Great pic of him sleeping with Chris. Portia did that all the time - it appears that's why "daddy's" have the broader chests.
No worries, you won't screw it up.
Cheers,
Carolina
